Service Times:

9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning.
Most services are at The Church of the Nativity, 159 S. Second Street, Newport, PA.

On occasion, services are held at St. Stephen, 55 East Main Street, Thompsontown, PA.

Our community of faith at The Church of the Nativity and St. Stephen is a loving and caring one with members from all walks of life. We welcome all people to join us in worship, fellowship, and service, regardless of race, ethnic background, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, capability or circumstances of life.

We number about sixty households and have been able to sponsor numerous large-scale parish projects and outreach ministries that serve the people of Juniata and Perry counties, making us a Jubilee Center.  In this way we seek to reflect Jesus' commandment that we love our neighbors as we love ourselves.  

This tradition of hospitality is based in the truth of the Incarnation, the biblical story of the Nativity, and our practice of God's presence in welcoming all who "seek God or a deeper knowledge of God."

Our worship style is rooted in the worship of the early Christian Church. Children are welcome. Holy Communion is offered to all who recognize Jesus' invitation to a centered and committed life. 

Each Sunday we worship at the Church of the Nativity or St. Stephen's at 9:30 AM followed by coffee hour in the Undercroft.  You are welcome to join us! 

Services are held at historic St. Stephen's Church throughout the year, Christmas Eve, Tuesday in Holy Week, Memorial Day (Sunday), and typically the first Sunday of the month in June, July, August, and September and All Saints Day.
