A note from the Rector…
Happy New Year!
In our rhythm of the year, we often become reflective as one year moves into another. It’s only a difference of a day, yet, as the prior year ends, we take time to review it. There are music shows of the Top 100 songs of the year. There are magazine and newspaper reviews of the top stories of the year. Even Facebook compiles “Our Year in Review.”
And as the new year approaches, we think about our plans. There might be some things we’d like to change in our lives and the new year seems like a good time to start. Sometimes we make New Year’s resolutions and the research shows us that not many of us keep them.
While we don’t need an old year closing and a new year beginning to review our lives and make changes in our lives, it’s still a good practice.
