This Sunday (May 31, 2020) at The Church of the Nativity and St. Stephen

This Sunday

Celebration of Pentecost with baptism. Service online or by phone.

Michele Neibert, Parish Administrator May 27, 2020
This Sunday (May 31, 2020) at The Church of the Nativity and St. Stephen

 O Lord, how manifold are your works! *
in wisdom you have made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.

This Sunday we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit. Our psalmist reminds us how wonderful God's creation is and how God has created everything.

While we cannot meet in person, we will have a wonderful celebration with the baptism of Tiffany Renee Ellsworth-Hailey. As she receives this outward and visible sign of an inward and invisible grace, may all of us feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

How has the Holy Spirit been showing up in your life during this unusual time?

Has the slowed pace of life given you time to appreciate the manifold works of God? Especially at this time of year, we witness a change in life. Trees bloom beautifully and then leaf out, creating shady streets and yards. Flowers bloom and our gardens grow. Birds build nests.

And the night skies are beautiful.

May our celebration this week be filled with joy and awe at all of God's creation.

Love, Rebecca+
