A note from the Rector…
Friends,
On May 15, we will conclude our 50 days of Easter with our Pentecost celebration. We’ll all try to wear lots of red. We will have plenty of red in the church. We’ll also have at least one baptism and maybe even more! We’ll celebrate the church’s birthday.
Observant Jewish people from many places had once again come to Jerusalem for an important prescribed festival commemorating the wheat harvest and also the day God gave The Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy) to the people. This is the festival known as Shavuot.
