This Sunday, once again, we experience the joy of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, followed by the horrific events of his arrest and crucifixion. Our Psalm during our service is Psalm 31.
The writer tells about the deep challenges being faced in life. Enemies and neighbors alike avoid the writer or are plotting to kill the writer. The writer is in pain, emotionally and physically. Life is not good at all.
Yet...yet, the writer continues to trust in God. The writer asks to feel God's radiance. The writer acknowledges and God is loving and kind. The writer acknowledges that God can save.
When we are in this place of near-despair, may we, like the Psalmist, cling to the loving-kindness and presence of God.

You will be asked to gather a group of family and friends together to come up with a plan for how best to care for yourself or for a loved one.
