praise the Lord. Hallelujah! Psalm 150:6
This Sunday we observe Earth Day. Our Psalms and scriptures are filled with references to the beauty and joy of God's creation. This Sunday, we say Psalm 150 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90GonV40di8.
The Psalm lists the many ways and the many reasons God should be praised. God should be praised with every musical instrument we have. God should be praised by our dancing. God should be praised for all God has done. In sum, everything in all of creation should praise the Lord.
How do we praise God? I hope there are many ways you praise God. We also praise God when we come together each week and sing hymns and share Eucharist with each other. We praise God in our care for God's creation.
This Sunday we focus on praising God in how we care for each other and how we care for this planet God has provided for us. Let everything praise the Lord!

Today we take an additional offering for our Building Fund.
The money donated helps us pay down our mortgage and pay for major repairs.

Community Events and Opportunities for Service
Coping with the Impact of Trauma for Parents, Foster Parents and Professionals of Cumberland and Perry Counties, Cumberland Perry Area Vocational Technical School, 110 Old Willow Mill Road, Mechanicsburg, Monday. May 6 and Monday, May 13, 4-6pm.
This workshop helps caregivers to understand the impact of trauma on behavior and emotions and also provides skills for self-care of the caregivers. RSVP by April 29, 717-240-6320 or 1-888-697-0371.

Perry County Literacy Council’s 25th Annual Race for Reading, Saturday, May 4, 5pm, Little Buffalo State Park Recreation Hall. Pre-Race Mint Julep Party, 4pm at the home of Todd Saner in honor of Susan Connell. Dinner Tickets are $35 and Mint Julep Tickets are $50.
There will be a silent auction and live auction at the dinner. Sponsorships and donations for auctions also needed. If you’d like to sit with other parish members attending or would like more info, please Rebecca.
