This Sunday (August 25, 2019) at The Church of the Nativity and St. Stephen

In you, O Lord, have I taken refuge; *
let me never be ashamed. Psalm 71:1

What does it look like when you take refuge in God? Our faith can provide a deep shelter for us as we navigate through our lives. When we follow God, especially through his Son, Jesus Christ and in companionship with the Holy Spirit, we do go through life differently. Sometimes the way is tough, because it is counter to how society measures us.

We are comforted because the Psalmist of so long ago, also understood this. Sometimes our refuge in God can be embarrassing to us and we pray that we are not ashamed by our deep faith that guides our lives.

May your refuge in God bring you comfort and peace.

Love, Rebecca+
