Sunday, December 31, 9:30am – Christmas Lessons and Carols with Morning Prayer led by Darlene Amsler at the Church of the Nativity followed by a Potluck lunch.
Collections for Neighbor Helping Neighbor Food Bank
The December items are: Sauerkraut, Canned Red Beets and Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener Sheets.
Flowers for Christmas
Donations for Christmas flowers will be taken through today. If you have an envelope, you can use it for the donation, including marking if they are “in honor of” or “in memory of” someone. There are also envelopes at the back of the church.
Financial donations will be accepted for the college boxes and cards and gift cards we send to college students. Please put College Boxes in the memo line.
Anyone with access to the Church, either by key or code, or a member of Vestry is required to stay up to date on Safe Church training. Learn more here: https://diocesecpa.org/safechurch/
Safe Church Lunch n’ Learn, Tuesdays, December 5 & 12 and January 9, 16 & 23, 12 – 12:30pm on Zoom.
These sessions will complete requirements for individual modules that are needed for Safe Church certification. Join one, a few, or all, for the modules and some conversation around each topic - Abuse & Neglect, Pastoral Relationships, Mandated Reporting and Sexual Harassment Prevention. Saturday, December 16, 2023, 7:30pm, A Cathedral Christmas
A combined mass choir of professional soloists and the St. Stephen’s Cathedral Choir perform Vivaldi’s famous “Gloria” alongside the romantic works of Dan Forrest and contemporary composers. A professional chamber orchestra will accompany the choir. This event will take place in the candlelit Nave of the Cathedral. This concert is free and our gift to the community.
