Today Bill Day leads Morning Prayer and we’ll have Advent Lessons and Carols.
Today we take an additional offering for Caring for Nativity’s Neighbors Heating and Health.
Donations are sent to Join Hands, so people in our community have support for their needs.
If you requested pledge envelopes for 2024, they are on the window sill at the church entrance.

The December items are: Sauerkraut, Canned Red Beets and Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener Sheets.
Flowers for Christmas.
Donations for Christmas flowers will be taken through December 10. If you have an envelope, you can use it for the donation, including marking if they are “in honor of” or “in memory of” someone. There are also envelopes at the back of the church.
Join Hands Christmas 2023
Thank you for sponsoring a child/children for Christmas. Please have all items to the church by Today, Sunday, December 3 for delivery to Join Hands on Monday, December 4. Join Hands has requested that all items be delivered at once and not dropped off individually. If you are available to help deliver gifts from the church to Join Hands, please meet at the church on Monday, December 4 at 9:30am.
Wreaths Across America:
Gail Shull will be taking orders for Wreaths Across America at a cost of $17.00. This is nationwide event. On December 16th, the nonprofit organizations taking orders will then be placing the wreaths on the graves of thousands of veterans. Checks should be made payable to Perry County Chapter DAR.
Help fill our community food pantry!
Items that seem to be taken first include canned pasta meals, soups, and macaroni and cheese. Vegetables don't seem to get taken. Also, please don't use this as an opportunity to clear out your pantry if at all possible.
2023–2024 Music by the River Concert Series. All performances are held in historic St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, 221 North Front Street, Harrisburg.

Saturday, December 16, 2023, 7:30pm, A Cathedral Christmas
A combined mass choir of professional soloists and the St. Stephen’s Cathedral Choir perform Vivaldi’s famous “Gloria” alongside the romantic works of Dan Forrest and contemporary composers. A professional chamber orchestra will accompany the choir. This event will take place in the candlelit Nave of the Cathedral. This concert is free and our gift to the community.
