and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
This verse from our Psalm this week made me stop. Are we not so brokenhearted? As I was writing this, I had just virtually attended the funeral of a colleague who died from Covid. Earlier in the day in a short trip to the Weis store, I learned that the brother of a man I know is probably dying from Covid. Yes, there are vaccines now, but there are still so many more who will die until we get enough people vaccinated. We are brokenhearted by the cares and troubles of people in our family and in our communities.
Our Psalm this Sunday brings us hope. God heals the brokenhearted. God binds up our wounds. God will heal us and bind up our wounds.
