Psalm 19, especially the first verse, always causes me to break into song. I first sang The Heavens are Telling from Haydn's oratorio The Creation in high school. It's just something that stays with you. We hear Psalm 19 this Sunday.
In our Collect for this Sunday, we ask that we proclaim the Good News to all people. Most of us, I think, struggle with how best to do that. I think we mostly subscribe to the saying, "Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words if necessary." It is true that living out the Gospel is most important and our actions often speak louder than any words.
The writer of Psalm 19, knew that all of creation proclaimed the glory of God. May we do likewise.

Items that seem to be taken first include canned pasta meals, soups, and macaroni and cheese. Vegetables don't seem to get taken. Also, please don't use this as an opportunity to clear out your pantry if at all possible.

We will have Karn’s gift cards soon. 5% of the cost of each card stays with the church and is used for outreach and mission projects.

They are seeking disaster team action members to respond to local emergencies and provide comfort and financial assistance.

Afghan Resettlement Donations Needed
Donate food items for incoming refugee families including Aahubarah or Basmati Rice, Split Green, Orange or Yellow Lentil, Kidney Beans/Chickpeas (dry or canned), Canned Pinto Bean/Peas, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Jam, Sugar, Flour, Green Tea, Tomato Sauce, Pasta, Potatoes (canned), Oils (Corn, Vegetable, Soybean), Salt, Pepper & Cumin. New/lightly used pots, pans, cleaning kits or toiletry kits. Place donated items in the box at the back of the church. If you have questions, please see Rebecca.
