Whose face lights up your life? There are so many people, aren't there? When you see them, you smile back and feel warm all over. You feel happy.
I will forever carry in my heart the image of my grandson when he was about 2 years old. I lived in Maryland and would come every few weeks to visit. When I'd arrive at his home, the front door would open and my grandson would light up. "Grandma," he'd scream with a big smile on his face. He was so happy to see me.
This Sunday as we read our Psalm, we ask God to shine God's face upon us. We are happy to see God. The Vestry has been participating in the Embracing Evangelism series through The Episcopal Church. The second session focuses on where and how we see God in the experiences in our lives and also witness them in the lives of others.
God's countenance shines upon us and we are blessed.

Join Hands is in need of school supplies. Please see the newsletter or email Rebecca sent for a list of items. Monetary donations can also be made to purchase supplies. Please write your check to the church and put ‘Back to School’ in the memo line and have to the church by August 2. Wendy can make one check for Join Hands. Supplies can be brought to the church until August 9.
