The Sunday after Pentecost is one where we always celebrate the Trinity. It's not the easiest concept to understand or write about. There is a mystery to it. God in three persons, as we say. The Creator God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. They are unified and yet different. Unity in diversity.
It is a wonderful definition of earth, and all its creatures, including us. There is tremendous diversity and yet, here we are all living together. There is a unity to this wonderful and amazing diversity.
And the amazing and wonderful diversity is not always welcome. We especially pray and remember those who are experiencing war in the world. We pray for and remember those who are being bullied for being different.
Let us remember how everything in and on this planet is created by God and a blessing to us in its diversity.

Church World Service (Harrisburg) World Refugee Day Block Party, Saturday, June 24, Noon to 3pm, Mackay & Front Streets, Rear Parking Lot
This event is rain or shine, will be free to attend, and has been created for our area’s residents to enjoy, including the new neighbors that we welcomed over the last year. Attendees can expect an afternoon of free fun for all ages, including free giveaways (while supplies last), games, activities, music, and art! Events are being sponsored by caring businesses and organizations in the area, including Diocesan Migration Ministry Resources.
