Our Psalm this Sunday is one that is a choice for our Morning Prayer services. It is known as the Venite - Come Let us.
We had Morning Prayer every weekday morning when I was in seminary and we often sang this. I cannot help but hear the tune in my head as we say the words. Here's a good recording of it https://youtube.com/watch?v=v4FDtgvKCyU&feature=shares
Well, this Sunday we will have an additional abundance of singing as we welcome soloist Christyan Seay. He will sing two pieces prior to our service and two during our service. I am so excited to welcome him and have him be part of our worship.
Even in our trials and challenges, we have so much to sing to the Lord and to shout for joy. During this Lenten time, we ponder our relationship with God. We are blessed to know the love of God. We are blessed to have God with us during our trials. We are blessed to have the teachings of Jesus to guide us in our lives...to know that loving God and loving our neighbor is the way of true freedom.
Come this Sunday and sing and shout for joy!
And don't forget to turn your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed on Saturday.

Today we welcome Christyan Seay as our guest vocalist.
Active in recital, oratorio and opera, Mr. Seay has performed extensively throughout central Pennsylvania and abroad, including performances with the Harrisburg, Lancaster and West Shore Symphonies, The Pennsylvania Consort, the Harrisburg Opera Association, Opera Lancaster, Opera North and Concert Operetta of Philadelphia. He has performed at Weill Recital Hall in New York City as well as Smetana Hall in Prague (Czech Republic). Mr. Seay sang as a member of the chorus and soloist in “The Underground Railroad: A Spiritual Journey” with renown soprano Kathleen Battle.

Flowers for Easter, April 9.
Donations for Easter flowers will be taken through March 19. If you have an envelope, you can use for the donation, including marking if they are “in honor of” or “in memory of” someone. There are also envelopes at the back of the church.
