This Sunday is our annual remembrance of all who have died. We especially remember all of those who taught us and nurtured us and encouraged us in our faith. We meet at St. Stephen's and you are encouraged to bring mementoes of your loved ones to put in the window sills. That way, we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, so to speak.
Our Collect reminds us that we are knit together - that we are one. Some of you knit and most of us have seen pieces of clothing that have been knit together. A piece of string, when worked with two knitting needles, becomes something beautiful. It is also strong and not that easy to pull apart, as anyone knows who has had to rip out some rows and start again.
As we remember those who have died, we also remember how we, the living and those who have gone before, are knit together.

Evening Election Day Prayers Online, November 8, 8pm – 12am, hosted by The Episcopal Church Office of Government Relations.

Volunteers Needed to Help with Money in Your Pocket Free Tax Prep Program
Volunteers are needed to offer free tax preparation to help working families receive the federal and state tax credits they are eligible for. The service is offered through the Money in Your Pocket (MIYP) program, a community partnership led by United Way of the Capital Region that is committed to the economic stability of local families.
