This Sunday (October 17, 2021) at The Church of the Nativity and St. Stephen

This Sunday

Michele Neibert, Parish Administrator October 12, 2021
This Sunday (October 17, 2021) at The Church of the Nativity and St. Stephen
From the hymn "On Eagle's Wings"

For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
They shall bear you in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12

Our Psalm this week reminds us how precious we are to God who created us in God's image. It's the image that even the angels, the immortal beings of light and without sin, keep watch over us. That even hitting our foot on a stone is too much pain for us.

We are deeply loved.

Hopefully we feel that deep love through others, especially in our church family. That is the beauty and blessing of being part of a church family. We have the opportunity to experience the love God has for us and to share love with others.

This week, may you feel how deeply you are cherished and loved,

Love, Rebecca

The exhibit presents 28 original works of visual art, which all present Jesus of Nazareth as a man who is not European.
