This Sunday

Chocolate and Coffee Tasting at Coffee Hour

The Rev. Rebecca Myers September 15, 2016

From the rising of the sun to its going down *
let the Name of the Lord be praised. Psalm 113:3

Have you noticed that the days are getting shorter? On the mornings I rise before 7, it's now dark. And the sun goes down before 7:30pm. Summer is waning and fall is on its way.

Our Psalm this Sunday reminds us that no matter the hours of daylight, we are to be praising God throughout the day. There are so many ways to do that. We can say prayers of thanks and praise throughout our day. We can smile at others and greet them warmly wherever we are. We can slow down and take a good, long look at everything around us.

How do you praise God throughout the day?

Many blessings as you finish your week!

Love, Rebecca+

Also, Jane Hoover, Bill Rohm and I are interested in hearing about what you believe are your spiritual needs and/or the spiritual needs of the congregation.
