Today, Sunday, September 8, 2-4pm, Lancaster Brass Quintet, Incarnation UCC, 47 N. 4th Street, Newport. Performing music brought to the forefront by such renowned ensembles as the Empire Brass and the Canadian Brass, the Lancaster Brass Quintet brings the sound and excitement of brass music to audiences by performing a wide variety of literature, including jazz, show tunes, sacred music, marches and original works for brass.

Perry County Chamber of Commerce’s 1st Annual Spirit Pull, Thursday, October 24, 6 – 9pm, The Barn at River Run (formerly The Barn at River Bend), 1800 Lower Bailey Road, Newport.
Ticket holders will be entered into a drawing to select a bottle of wine, spirits, or beer growler from the table. There will be light refreshments, a cash bar, 50/50 raffle, and guests can have their portrait drawn by a caricature artist for a small fee!
